Guy Turcotte, Canadian Doctor Who Murdered His Two Children, Released After Serving Less Than 4 Years
The former Quebec cardiologist who killed his two children three years ago was released Wednesday from a mental health facility under certain conditions.
Guy Turcotte was held at the Pinel Institute after he stabbed five-year-old Olivier and three-year-old Anne-Sophie nearly four dozen times as they slept in their beds in February 2009.
He was deemed not criminally responsible for their deaths in July 2011. The Crown has filed an appeal.
