Paul Walker Memorial Draws Thousands In California

    An impromptu memorial started through social media drew thousands to the spot where the actor and his friend died in a car crash on Nov. 30.

    Mourners began arriving in the early morning to the spot in a suburb of Los Angeles where Walker died in a crash.

    At the site of the single-vehicle car crash in Santa Clarita, fans left flowers, candles, and stuffed animals.

    Crowds continued to gather throughout the day.

    During the memorial fans left messages on a giant poster for Walker and Roger Rodas, who was driving the car when it crashed.

    By the end of the day, thousands of friends, fans, and car enthusiasts stopped by to remember Walker and Rodas.

    Families with children dropped by too.

    Many arrived in high-performance cars and the event was expected to end Sunday evening with a car ride through the area.
