Dizzee Rascal And Robbie Williams Keep The Mods Versus Rockers Beef Alive

British rapper Dizzee Rascal invited the nation's favourite pop rascal Robbie Williams to collaborate on a new single 'Goin' Crazy', and the whacky accompanying video is as unexpected as their partnership.

When British rapper Dizzee Rascal announced a collaboration with cheeky pop star Robbie Williams, the public scratched their heads en masse at what seemed to be a rather odd pairing (although the two artists are both known for their sense of humour). But soon things got even weirder when the director of 2 Chainz and Kanye West's wonderfully odd 'Birthday Song' video joined in.

The new video pits Dizzee and Robbie against one another in the classic mods v rockers scenario playing out very slowly on the streets of London, except instead of Vespas and Harleys, they're cruising in custom pimped out mobility scooters with a band of pretty odd characters and lookalikes (is that Slash behind Dizzee?).

Somehow, it all works spectacularly well together, probably because Nilsson is a master at building intriguingly surreal worlds that make for genre-bending videos (see his recent and equally unexpected David Guetta effort here), but he also knows how to make things look really, really good.

Judging by the YouTube comments alone, you can probably expect gangs of mobility-scooter-riding copycats to pop up any minute now, which is not all that threatening when you really think about it. Although that depends on where they're getting the scooters, doesn't it?
