When This 3-Year-Old Learned That Some Kids Get So Sick Their Hair Falls Out, She Did Something Incredible

Heroes come in all shapes, sizes, and hair lengths.

"Sometimes kids get sick, and then their hair falls out. That's really, really sad. I don't want any kids to be sad that they have no hair. What I wanna do is give them my hair. Because I have long hair, just cut some of it off."

Little Emily James had beautiful, long hair- especially for a three-year-old. One day, Emily's parents suggested to her that she donate her hair to make wigs for kid's with cancer.

Emily's parents showed her pictures online of children without hair, wigs, and shorter style haircuts. After all that, she was ready to donate her hair. She just had one condition- her Dolly had to get her hair cut first.

Next, it was Emily's turn. "I tried to stay nice and still when Matthew cut my hair," Emily said.

When her hair was done being cut and styled, Emily and Dolly both looked fabulous!

Finally, it was time to send her locks off to be made into a wig for someone in need.

"What an incredible lesson to learn from a 3-year-old, when we have lots of something- don't hold onto it, give it away to someone else who needs it more," said Emily's parents, who also made the short film.
