“I didn't have an abortion and my kid is going to make me millions” - if anything that's about the best pro-life angle I've ever heard.

This isn't the ad that was broadcasted. In fact, the one that did was even worse. She gave the same speech, but then out of NOWHERE, her son tackles her to the ground, then she awkwardly pops right back up and says “Oh timmy!!” And he then says “Sorry Mom!!” And they hug. If you saw this too, you thought the same thing, WTF, and didn't this just happen in a Betty White commercial two seconds ago?! It was a dumb commercial to begin with, and than adding the tackle, what the hell did that help with!! Besides, Terry Tate did it better.. 

Focus on the Family is anti-gay hate group. The anti-gay angle hasn't been paying off they way it once did so they need cash from a fresh crop of suckers.  Oh yes, I'm on my way to abort Tim Tebow's fetus. Sorry I just couldn't help myself.

Abortion is worse than torture. Let's let the babies have a chance at making a choice.

And how is that controversial? I hear a lot of pissiness about bigotry and the like in the comments. But I don't hear it in the spot. I've watched an re-watched this. At best, it's underwhelming. At worst it's, well, dumb. Where's the anti-abortion hate-speak about which everyone has their panties in a wad?

The copy that had already been leaked showed it to be a “gentle” message. Doesn't take away from Tebow's obnoxious preachiness, or Focus on the Family's determination to stamp out any of your rights they disagree with—or their vicious anti-gay hatred, or CBS' obvious agenda-driven refusal to air ads containing other social messages. These right-wing hate sects would like nothing more than for everyone to start cooing, “Awwww, they aren't so bad—they're just nice folks who love babies.” I'm not fooled. Fuck Tim Tebow and his mom (who chose to put precious Tim's life at risk in order to spread her message of hatred and intolerance). Fuck Focus on Bigotry. And fuck CBS.

So whats the message here? Don't abort babies cuz they might be good at football? What if that baby grows up to be Hitler or Bin Laden? So yeah.

If Tebow's mom practiced abstinence she would have also prevented Tim from being born. That's the illogic of their message. So all your celibates are ruining the football's future!

Yeah, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. All I really get from this is she's happy she CHOSE to have her kid.

As anti-abortion screed, it's underwhelming. It could just as easily be a commercial for J&J Neonatal incubators.

am I the only one who was pleasantly surprised? I mean, I still disagree with its underlying message but the ad itself wasn't nearly as bad as I expected.
