Sheesh I wasn’t expecting so much hate for this. I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but honestly… how about we congratulate them for thinking outside the box and on their marriage. If they’re happy with it, why do we care? Obviously it wasn’t a problem for him, and as for the bridesmaids who to some seem unhappy…true friends do this for their friend who’s getting married.

  This took me awhile because I couldn’t figure out another female Disney character with red hair other than Merida. But then I remembered than Enchanted was a Disney flick, so it’s gotta be Giselle (Amy Adams). Her character made a dress from the pink and teal curtains at one point in the film.

You know what kind of weddings make me want to kvetch? paint-by-numbers weddings You know, the kind with the arch from page 23 in the catalog and the champagne fountain from page 57. The kind with colors like “ivory and platinum” with nothing but white roses and pearl sprays in the bouquet. The kind that involve Christmas lights, in a vase, on the table, as a centerpiece. These people seemed like they got really creative, had a lot of fun and probably saved thousands of dollars. Good on them. That is precisely how a marriage should begin I think.

I don’t see the problem, I think its sweet that she went so far with what she truly wanted. I personally wouldn’t do it, but I’m not gonna rain on her parade just cause its not my cup of tea. I think it looks like everyone had a lot of fun with it. More power to them.

I’d much prefer going to weddings that are different, like this one, than the same old recycled traditional bull we usually have to endure every single time. Make your wedding your own, don’t follow the text books.
