My first inclination was that the photos--all by Christopher Jonassen and available in his artist book, "Devour"--were of some lesser-known planets or a few of Jupiter's 64 moons. Maybe nail heads?
But no! They are actually the bottoms of old, worn-out skillets and frying pans.
Pretty neat, huh?
