I like this but I wouldn’t recommend actually doing it unless you know exactly what sort of situation you’re writing into (or if you’re at the end of your tether). You never know if you’ll run into these people again, especially in an academic setting.

I LOVE THIS. I get rejection letters on a weekly basis and it’s soul-destroying. My previous approach was to repeatedly watch that video of the baby hysterically laughing at ripping paper - I pretend that the ripped paper is my rejection letters - but this is my new plan.
