PETA Under Fire For Violent New "Go Vegan" Ad
Is PETA promoting the ethical treatment of animals at the expense of the ethical treatment of women? That’s what some are alleging after seeing the organization’s new ad, which implies becoming a vegan will make a man so virile that he’ll “knock the bottom out of” his girlfriend, leaving her bruised, limping and in a neck brace. If he really cared about her, he would bang her in a position that wouldn’t result in her getting her head smashed into the wall. It doesn’t matter how virile a guy is, there’s no excuse for being so rough that it causes injury. I’ve known quite a few women who are codependent and put up with this kind of shit. They would never demand respect or even ask their BF to be careful not to hurt them. They have little regard for themselves and “need to be needed.” It’s sick. And of course, they always attract guys who just don’t care about their welfare. So where did PETA find this pubescent male virgin to write this and the other woman-hating nonsense they pass off as ads?

mattb17 a year agoI thin PETA has done more to set back the cause of animal welfare and promoting veganism than it ever has done for just by continual acting like a jackass organization. How I think PETA meetings go: “Wow we really need to raise awareness about the abuse of animals in factory farms and promote alternatives” “Well we could launch a effective yet subtle campaign that treats people who eat meat respectfully and show them the alternatives without being condescending understanding that this is a controversial topic. In fact we could understand that some people are not going to give up meat and promote humane sources for them to get their products.” “Yes….OR….we could launch completely juvenile campaign with naked celebs, shocking images and generally treat and talk to the people we’re trying to reach and convince like war criminals” “Yea lets go with that”
