“We’ve had a death in our family.” After an opening performance by Bruce Springsteen, host LL Cool J kicked off the 54th Annual Grammy Awards tonight with a prayerful tribute to Whitney Houston, who died yesterday at the age of 48. What a beautifully moving moment.

brendanmoore a year agoMatt Cherette posted about SNL and people hated on him and Buzzfeed in general for being too negative all the time… now he posts about someone saying a prayer for someone who died and the readers go on the attack. Why is it okay for you all to be so negative but not the Buzzfeed staff? And how you can you all be so critical of someone showing respect for the dead?! What a bunch of heartless hypocrites!
