#3 is cute

…wouldn't you know it, it was #4 that broke my heart into a million pieces.  It's so great that people of all abilities can participate in something so freeing…  I used to chat online with a guy who had muscular dystrophy, but he didn't mention it until I invited him to a group meeting with all the locals from the chatroom. He was worried about meeting us because of his wheelchair, and I told him we'd make sure to go places where he'd be able to get access. He couldn't make it that time. We were going to schedule another meet-up, but he died soon afterwards, at age 18. I went to his funeral and his family were so kind to me -they said he had mentioned me often. Sorry to be a buzzkill… please don't flame me for it… the #4 picture really hit a nerve. it's important to remember that there are *real* people behind every comment you see and every faceless person you interact with online. Please be kind; you don't know who they are.
