A question—albeit one completely unrelated to the question or answer in the video:
What is it with the stiff, horse-mouthed, snotty look that so many “beautiful” women have in these contests. I mean, just *LOOK* at the still from the video above—it's like an expression of disgust coupled with contempt, and THAT is supposed to be attractive?!?
Now obviously, I totally disagree with the idiocy spewed by this airhead in the video, but I don't think that's really germane to this particular observation, since so many of these “beauty queens” seem to share this trait. But why??? It's just…very unappealing.

While it doesn't surprise me at all that Miss California, as a beauty contest participant, is dumb as a rock, or that dumb-as-a-rock folks tend to hold to benighted points of view, it's increasingly surprising to me there are still people who are so socially isolated that they actually feel no shame when expressing this kind of bass-ackwards bigotry in public. These morons are going to be mighty dismayed when (and I doubt it will be very long) footage of them issuing such outrageous opinions is displayed right next to footage of narrow-minded cavemen cops enforcing Jim Crow laws. Being raised as a bigot by bigots is hardly an excuse, even for an obvious intellectual lightweight.
