It was two weeks ago and Labor tried to make political mileage about Turnbull's huge $200 million personal fortune and private investments in the Cayman Islands.

In what some political commentators are already pointing to as a watershed moment for the new Turnbull era, the PM actually used the awkward revelation to his benefit, hammering Labor.

"If the honourable member (Bill Shorten) wants to go round wearing a sandwich board saying, 'Malcolm Turnbull's got a lot of money', feel free," he said at the despatch box.

"I think people know that I've got a lot of money."

It was immediately seized on by some as a potential new slogan for the struggling opposition leader.

Absolutely wild to see Bill Shorten hit the streets minutes after #qt

And just a reminder: Yes, Malcolm Turnbull is so absurdly wealthy he decided not to move into the prime ministerial residence because his Sydney waterfront mansion is much nicer.

Australia, a land of so much opportunity we've now got as PM someone for whom moving to Kiribilli House is a downgrade

Well The Australian's very funny cartoonist Jon Kudelka has called Turnbull on his bluff, making a whole clothing range emblazoned with the statement.

BuzzFeed staff bought some of the range to check if the site was a prank. As you can see here, nope, it's real!

Not only can you buy t-shirts with the famous phrase, but why not buy some "Malcolm Turnbull has a lot of money"-active wear and impress your friends at the gym?
