Comedian John Oliver was interviewed on the Emmys red carpet by Channel 10's Angela Bishop and he launched straight into a celebration.
Oliver, who has destroyed Abbott's conservative policies on several very public occasions (like on his TV show) couldn't hide his delight at the news he'd been deposed last week.
He even hilariously congratulated Australia for what he thought was a very wise decision.
