After some overwhelming support from Australia (and the AFL community) over the last week, Swans player Adam Goodes has brushed aside retirement talk and will return to training tomorrow.
The great news was delivered by Swans coach John Longmire and tweeted by the team on Monday.
Goodes was given "indefinite leave" after the booing controversy reached peak insanity last week.
And there were some concernes from the AFL community that it might force him into retirement.
Footy fans showed up in force for the two-time Brownlow medallist over the weekend. It's not yet known whether Goodesy will play this round against the Cats in Geelong this weekend.
But seeing him back in training will be a sight to see.
