How To Draw 4 Badass "Star Wars" Helmets

Step up your doodle game.

Darth Vader

1. Draw a "W."

2. Put some doodads on the corners.

3. Close off the openings to make triangles.

4. Put two ovals atop the triangles.

5. Put a smaller, squished, upside down triangle underneath.

6. Put a wavy line above for a brow.

7. Put a big half-circle above it.

8. Draw an open box underneath.

9. Connect it to the half-circle.

10. Add two corners for the bottom of the helmet.

11. Add some more lines for details and there he is!

12. Maybe even some shading to complete the effect.

A First Order Stormtrooper

1. Draw two horizontal lines.

2. Make the top one into a half-circle.

3. Add two wide wavy "W's" to the bottom one to make a visor.

4. Put a shorter wavy "W" underneath.

5. And a slightly bigger one under that.

6. Use "S" shapes to connect that line to the visor.

7. Then use to "C" shapes to connect the other line to the visor too.

8. Put two swooping diagonal lines for the sides of the helmet.

9. Connect them with another big wavy "W".

10. Put a circle on the right side.

11. Add more lines and details.

12. With a little shading, there you have it!

BONUS: Add some blood! (If it's Finn's helmet.)

Boba Fett

1. Draw two vertical lines.

2. Draw a horizontal line above it.

3. Connect them all with two diagonal lines and one horizontal one.

4. Draw a closed off half-circle above it.

5. Add two slightly diagonal lines to either side.

6. Add two more to connect it to the bottom of your "T" shape.

7. Now draw two curved lines along the inside of the "T" shape.

8. And two more along the outer sides.

9. Put two long shapes on the sides of the helmet.

10. Add an upside down "L" to the left side.

11. Add some little details, and there's Boba!

12. Try some shading if the spirit moves you.

Kylo Ren

1. Draw 5 horizontal lines.

2. Extend and curve them down to the sides.

3. Draw another shorter horizontal line just below the others.

4. Connect it to the other lines with two ovals to create the visor.

5. Draw two swooping vertical lines from the outermost curved line, going down and inward.

6. Then two diagonal lines, connecting them to the bottom of the visor.

7. Draw a big half-circle on top.

8. Add two corners coming off either side.

9. Close off the bottom two lines with a jigsaw-y line.

10. Add some more lines and dots.

11. Finally add some shading to make Kylo look as evil as possible, and you're done!
