Variety reports that Liz and Maddie star Dove Cameron has been cast as the lead in the upcoming live-action Disney Channel original movie, Descendants. She plays Mal, the daughter of Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent and "ringleader of a group of teenage kids of famed Disney villains."
