    A Real Life Jurassic Park

I can almost hear the sound of T-Rex mating.

Welcome to Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada. *epic musical score plays in the background*

75 million years ago, this land was a home to approximately 35 species of dinosaurs.

Between 1979 and 1991, a total of 23,347 fossil specimens were collected, including 300 dinosaur skeletons.

This 28.30 square miles park that is well-known for being one of the richest dinosaur fossil sites in the world has earned its UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979.

Actual dinosaur fossils are scattered everywhere around this site.

Much of the park is off limits to visitors without a guide, since there are many ongoing excavations until today.

Apparently, this wonderful jurassic landscape is also perfect for night time sky-gazing.

Even though all the dinos are now dead, if you sense anything odd while walking around the park..

    .. be very cautious.

You might not know what's coming right behind you.
