Why April 21st is the best day of the year.

1. Muster embodies the Aggie Spirit.

Aggie Muster is the celebration and embodiment of all that it means to be a Fightin' Texas Aggie...And it's always a great day to be an Aggie.

2. It connects our past, present, and future.

3. Muster is a huge part of our history.

Muster is a tradition that is over 130 years old.

4. Muster is celebrated all over the world.

Aggies gather together to celebrate in over 300 locations worldwide.

5. Students are excused from class at 5 pm on April 21st to attend Muster.

Aggie Muster is considered a University excused absence, therefore; in order to allow students to attend the ceremony, they are excused from classes starting at 5pm or later.

6. Reveille cannot wait and has been counting down the days.

7. This year's Muster Speaker is Will Hurd, Class of 1999.

Will Hurd was the MSC President, Student Body President during the Aggie Bonfire collapse, went on to work for the CIA, and was just elected to serve as the first African American Republican Congressman from Texas.

8. Come to the Flag Raising Ceremony to kickoff of April 21st.

The ceremony takes place at 7 am at Academic Plaza.

9. See the Reflections Display.

The display will be shown from April 17th - 21st in the MSC flag room.

10. At the Display, remember and cherish the wonderful lives of those we are honoring.

11. Enjoy great food and great company at the Muster BBQ!

The BBQ is 11 am - 2 pm on April 21st located at Kyle Field Plaza.

12. Snap a selfie with the 50 year Class while you are there!

13. Meet former students and compare your rings.

14. Compare past to present.

Muster is a tradition that by nature offers retrospective, allowing students to pause and consider our heritage.

15. Come to the Muster Ceremony.

The ceremony starts at 7pm on April 21st and is located at Reed Arena.

16. Say "here".

As the candles are lit, say "Here" for our fellow Aggies that are no longer with us in body, but will always be with us in spirit.

17. Come together as an Aggie Family.

Know that someday, no matter how much time has passed or how far you've traveled, your name will be called and your Aggie family will answer "Here".

18. Because Aggieland will always be your home.

19. And even after graduation, you will still sing Hullabaloo.

20. Because being an Aggie is about something bigger than yourself.
