Science Buzz I never think anything is gross. But today, while surfing the web, I discovered the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. [Editor's note: We can't argue, this is pretty gross.]

One night when I was a kid a lady ran across the street at our corner thinking that an approaching bus would see her and stop. Turned out it wasn't a bus, but a huge truck with big mirror mounts. Didn't see her and didn't stop. The mirror mounts smashed her head like a melon. I saw that. There was a huge puddle of blood dried on the street for several days. THAT was much grosser than this.
I've seen a lot worse. Plus, that looks like glue.
This is gross, to be sure, but is not, by a WIDE margin, the grossest thing I have ever seen.

As a past burn victim, this doesn't even come close to the top of the list. You gain a whole new perspective on skin. Just the same… that foot needs some care.

Is that actually skin or a paraffin wax treatment? I think if it was dry skin it would have more of a yellowish tint to it.

I used to do this with Elmer's glue. spread it on, let it dry, it peels off like dead skin and freaks everyone out. Works on hands, too. Did none of you go to elementary school?
