    Eclectic artist, Elkfoot, channels one key subject in his work: nostalgia.

    Contrary to popular belief, his photographs are not just comprised of action figures and other still life.

    Though most of his work references 80s culture, every creation invokes a sense of sentimentality to the factors that helped shape the artist Elkfoot is today.

    Check out this piece, 'All Men Must Fry"; A great spoof on the top 3 fast food chains and one of the most popular shows of our generation. Would you believe me if I said that took FIFTEEN HOURS to construct? You heard me. Fifteen.

    Wendy and the King are carefully constructed from clay and recycled fabric, the throne of actual french fries, the stained glass of lens gels delicately cut and pieced together like a mosaic to resemble a typical fast food meal; the wall behind the scene is just cardboard, and the stairs are just a stack of books covered with grey paper, with an added atmosphere from a fog machine. Crazy right? Here's the behind the scenes:

    Amazing how three fast food chain icons fighting for the "Fryron Throne" could be made from household items and look this awesome.

    Now check these out:

    Aside from the childhood toys from the claymation classic, the background scene was hand made from spray-painted spray foam sealant in a cardboard box.

    But he doesn't just dabble in toys and sculpting to create a great photograph; he also references 80's classics via hysterical self portraits:
