I love flowers. Whether they want to admit it or not most buyers decide to make an offer based off their emotions. As the home seller, it is your job to help buyers become emotionally invested enough in your property to make an offer. This is not always a simple task to achieve. One of the simplest ways to create an emotional connection is with the placement of fresh beautiful flowers in a room. Can you pass a flower shop without a smile instantly being put on your face? I know I can't. Flowers have the ability to lighten your mood and create a sense of happiness. There are many theories as to why this is the case and I'm not here to single out any one reason. What I can tell you is that there is never a reason to not to have flowers present in a home for sale.
Treat them with kindness
Cut them. Straight forward and direct. Cut flowers last longer, it's a fact
Change the water. Nobody wants to stare at beautiful flowers that are floating in old dirty water
Cure a headache and help keep your flowers stay alive. One of the oldest tricks that I've learnt is, Aspirin. Ground up an Aspirin and place it in the vase before adding your flowers
One for you, one for me. A few drops of Vodka combined with a tablespoon of sugar will help kill bacteria in the vase which helps keep flowers fresh
Carnations. The right combination of beautiful and cheap. They can last weeks without having to be cut. They are inexpensive and won't break the bank
There's nothing like the touch of flowers to make a house feel like a home.
