Black Helix - Alternate Reality Game

A new alternate reality game "Black Helix" has just launched at http://www.theblackhelix.com Over a period of four weeks players will be engaged into an interactive game that will include live events, phone calls, real world tasks and a final role playing event. The plot revolves around the kidnapping of a 27yr old medical researcher and players must hunt both online and off to discover the victim’s whereabouts. The game will react to conversations on twitter and Facebook with the story changing accordingly. Unlike most ARGs, players of Black Helix will become part of an unwritten story where at the end of the game we will be publishing the story as one of the world’s first player sourced ARG novels. The players alias names, information, research and sub plots that develop over the period of the game will all be integrated into the final story to create a unique ebook.
