cedricd2 10 months agoI’m pretty sure someone has said this already, but do not order these by name. Just don’t do it. This menu was never approved by Starbucks Coffee Company so all my paid baristas are not required to learn these drinks. This menu has as much authority over drinks than I have authority over your medical records, and believe me, I am far from being a doctor. When we try to make a drink that we both (customer&barista) don’t know how to make, then everyone just ends up upset and angry. Just order the drinks exactly the way the .jpg files above says to and everyone (customers&baristas) will be happy. Plus, there are many different ways to make these drinks. So, if you are specific with the proportions, sizes, ingredients and basically every detail, then there is no way anyone can mess up what you ordered. BTW, the blended strawberry lemonade is an official Starbucks Coffee Company drink.
BTWx2, that Double Chocolaty-Chip Frapuccino substitute white mocha sounds delicious. -

Inquisitive Kat 10 months agoI see a lot of complaining on both sides. Baristas should stop complaining about the speciality drinks, so long as customers stop complaining when they’re actually charged extra for the modifications.

dmz a year agolol, wow… obviously a lot of people here aren’t reading the article properly. you would ask for those ingredients fo your drink, you don’t want in and ask for a “Raspberry Cheesecake”. Duh. And anytime i’ve asked to modify a drink the barista has been nothing but curteous and happy to do so. It’s part of Starbucks’ appeal and customer service!

boopbop a year agoRaspberry Cheesecake? That’s a raspberry white mocha and you can get that at pretty much any coffee shop. French Vanilla? That’s actually half vanilla, half hazelnut, not toffee crunch. Nutella? That’s a hazelnut mocha, also pretty standard. As someone who has worked at several coffee shops, please do not come in and use any of these names, anywhere. Personalized drinks are common and not a big deal at all as long as you don’t give them cutesy names and expect people to know what the hell you’re talking about. There are endless syrup combinations that can create delicious drinks, you could always ask your barista what they recommend.

krisztinai a year agoAlso, why didn’t they mention the “dirty chai?” It’s pretty much a chai tea latte w/ a shot of espresso, but having the barista call out your order in a busy Starbucks more than makes up for it. Also, it sounds like it belongs in a wimpy version of the Kama Sutra.

Arctic_Boosh a year agoTechnically as a Starbucks partner, we can’t accept outside food to put in a beverage. So the biscotti frap isn’t really possible unless you’re really chummy with your barista.
