Police Investigating After Kid’s Birthday Party Turns Into A Brawl

So much for "keep your hands and feet to yourself".

A child's birthday party at Lollipop's Playland in south-west Sydney turned into a brawl on Saturday, after rival groups of parents got physical in response to an alleged hair-pulling incident.

Police believe that two children from separate groups had a minor run-in on the play equipment. One of the fathers present allegedly responded by pulling a six-year-old girl's hair, the ABC has reported.

The girl told her father, aged 48, about the hair-pulling incident. He then approached another man to discuss what had happened.

At this point, a group of men allegedly assaulted the 48-year-old man, along with two other men aged 27 and 32 when they came to assist him.

The other group of men then fled Lollipop's Playland in their vehicles.

The three men were taken to Fairfield Hospital and treated for injuries to the face, head, back and hands.

A crime scene was established at Lollipop's Playland, which is billed as "an exciting arena for your children to enjoy unlimited fun".
