One Of The Real Housewives Of Melbourne Was At The Budget Because Why Not

    Real Housewives of Parliament.

For reasons we're not quite sure of, Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux made a surprise appearance at the federal budget announcement on Tuesday.

They're all here in Canberra tonight #rhom

Breaux, notorious on the show for her fiesty personality and ribbon-twirling proficiency, seemed to have a wonderful time meeting and greeting politicians at one of the biggest political events of the year.

Of all the surprises delivered on this budget day, Breaux's appearance was perhaps the most unexpected.

But her zest for all things budget was made clear on social media.

"Julie Bishop has charisma I just adore her!" she wrote on Instagram. "Very lucky to draw the ballot and see the budget being read live!"

She also described the state president of the Victorian Liberal Party, Michael Kroger, and MP Jason Wood as her new besties.

The visit won her a few fans, too.

I'm absolutely loving that @GambleBreaux is in Canberra for #FederalBudget2015. She just keeps kicking goals in my books hahaha superstar!
