1. May 28th will always be a very special day to me because it's the day one of my very best friends, Sachi, was born.
2. She means the world to me because we've been friends for 20 years and have known each other for almost our whole lives.
3. We've created so many memories in the past two decades and I know we'll keep creating new, special memories for the rest of our lives.
4. Sachi knows all of my deep, dark secrets that I wouldn't dare tell anyone else.
In fact, she knows a little ~ too much ~ about me (and even has the pictures to prove it).
5. We always have fun when we go out, cause a ruckus, and paint the town red.
6. But we also have a great time just sitting on someone's couch and cuddling all night long.
7. She's *always* there for me whenever I need her, no questions asked.
And she never hesitates to lend a helping hand, like when she helped me pack for college when I was in denial and didn't want to do it myself.
After all, that's what friends are for. (That, and passing the champagne bottle.)
8. She goes out of her way to make me feel special and loved.
9. Sachi's also literally my blood sister.
10. And she's shown me that family isn't just the people you're related to; family is who you choose to have around you and share all of your milestones with.
11. We have inside jokes GALORE!

12. And look at her cute little feet. She has the cutest little feet!
13. We have a whole lot of things in common and share a love for all the important things in life.
14. Like our shared affinity for gingies.
15. She loves my family and shows them so much affection and respect.
But not as much as they love her!
16. We have traditions that I look forward to honoring and celebrating every single year.
17. No matter what craziness is going on around us, we always find a way to stick together and have our own fun.
18. Plus, friends who match together, stay together!
19. Long distance friendships are a bitch, especially with your best friend in the world, but we both try hard to make it work.
Shout out to Facetime, Google hangouts, and unlimited cell phone minutes.
20. She never missed one of my birthdays when we were growing up, and now that we live 3,000 miles apart she's always the first one to call me at midnight on the dot.
21. She's seen me at my goofiest and never laughs *at* me, but always laughs *with* me.
22. Whenever I think back on some of my happiest memories and experiences, Sachi's in nearly all of them.
23. In the 20 years we've been friends, Sachi has always been loyal, kind, and sincere.
24. Our friendship is one of my greatest blessings.
25. And there's no one else I'd rather go through this crazy life with as my BFF.
