i think when there is a necessary reason for nude images, or even simply to idolize and worship the body i think it is appropriate. however PETA is fighting fire with fire— two wrongs do not make a right and thus fighting the disgusting meat corporation with cheap tits’n’ass ads is just plain vile. is it necessary to use overly sexual campaigns? “i’d rather show my buns then wear fur!” “shackled beaten busted” campaign (because nothing like S&M imagery to invoke a desire for a portobello right?) or how about this real winner of a commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siWWlgDbAgs&feature=related

PETA is more sexist and flagrantly objectifies women more than victoria secret. i think that what PETA stands for [ending cruelty against animals] is important but i think the fact that they use these disgusting means to “get their point across” is absolutely degenerate. also, the amount of paper they use to shove their agenda down peoples throats is probably worse for the environment then the meat industry. so way to go PETA you save the pigs by being a sexist, hypocritical one.

If people want to be vegan, cool. You want to help animals, cool. I’m not anti vegetarian animal lover. I’m anti- protester. Tired of seeing obnoxious attention whoring protesters. When I see some protester out and about, it immediately scores negative points with me for their cause. Normal people have too much to do in their normal lives rather than being obnoxious eyesores and annoying nuisances. If your position is valid you don’t need to resort to theatrics and annoying behavior. The driver should sue PETA. They intentionally went out to cause a scene and a distraction. They succeeded. Their shenanigans caused the accident. Sue their obnoxious asses.

I find the girl at the end saying “It’s really said what they have to go through, to be eaten,” to be a better argument for vegetarianism than anything PETA has ever done.

I’m not anti-vegetarian, but I’m definitely anti-PETA. Their vision for how people should live is so ridiculous and impractical.
