I work in product placement and my job is actually to catch placements like these for our clients. Sure, the Miller placements are definitely a bit obvious, but I feel like whoever cut this is being overly dramatic about it, especially in the first scene. Did you expect them to switch beers mid scene? That wouldn’t make sense. Plus, a lot of people IRL really ARE brand-loyal, not to mention numerous films/tv shows I know who wouldn’t take our client’s beer because the star/director/whatever “only drinks American beer.”
