    Ten Reasons To Take A Hot Yoga Class

    People may think that taking a hot yoga class, where the room is heated to 105 degrees for an hour and a half, is madness. But there are some good reasons to take the class, ten reasons to be exact.

    1)If you take a Monday class, you will sweat out the fried

    foods and alcohol you consumed the previous weekend

    
2) You will burn at least 600 calories in a 90 minute class


    3)If you meet someone in class- as a hot, sweaty mess, this is the absolute worst you will ever look


    4)No need to bother with primping your hair and makeup for class- you will be drenched the entire time


    5)Even when you are doing poses on the floor( think cobra/plank) you will be sweating profusely


    6)Even if you are not into meditation, 90 minutes of no cell phone has got to be relaxing


    7)People who run marathons don't even sweat as much as you will in a hot yoga class

    8)Just so you can tell people that you do hot yoga- most people will be horrified

    9)You will feel superior to those who do "regular" yoga- after all, they are in a temperature controlled room, hot yoga rooms are heated to 105 degrees


    10) It will be a test of your will to remain in the room for the entire class- no need to step outside for a breather.
