Cinnamon Broom 11 months agoI kind of understand baby formula now. Similac is $25 a box, and baby girl is going through more than one a week. And it’s NOT because I didn’t work my butt off trying to nurse her!! I tried harder at that than I’ve ever tried at anything in my life, but some mamas/babies just can’t do it.

Emily G. 11 months agoPeople literally put large items in carts or try to carry them out of back doors. It’s not just customers either. My ex worked with a guy who was fired because, when the store they worked at was doing truck, he would set aside electronics and just carry them off to his car.

a short haired girl 11 months agohaving worked in a drug store, the first few don’t surprise me at all. i’d regularly find used or wrappers of pregnancy tests in the bathrooms. people stole baby formula all the time, but not because they couldn’t afford it. shoplifters would try and return them w/o a receipt because they were expensive and wanted store credit to buy something else. i’m surprised condoms and eye drops aren’t on this list. i’d regularly find empty boxes of both stuck randomly in the store aisles.

elisep 11 months agoMy boyfriend and roommate both work at places that get stolen from a lot. From what they’ve told me the items are removed from the box and placed in giant purses or for larger items people will wander around the store with them until everyone is busy and sneak out. Our roomie had a guy walk out with two chainsaws once. That and it’s a policy at lots of places not to confront the shoplifters and just notify the police.

What about jewelery? You know how many times i thought of grabbing jewelery in JCPenny, and taking the tags off in the dressing room and shoving them in my purse? all the time.
