The 24 Most Important Moments Of The New "Hunger Games" Trailer

PEEEETA! Some small, possible spoilers from the books.

    1. We get our first glimpse of mid-revolution Katniss. Her hair is flat but girl looks resolved af.

    2. Apparently President Snow's rose greenhouse is so important it needs two bodyguards.

    3. First Gale glimpse! And it's a serious throwback to the first reaping all the way back in the very beginning.

    4. Then, of course, we get mid-revolution glimpses of Plutarch...

    5. ...and Effie looking fabulous in her comparatively minimalist makeup...

    6. ...and a sweet, brief glimpse of Cressida lighting a cigarette? Checking her equipment? Whatever, flawless.

    7. AND FINNICK.

    <3 Finnick <3

    8. It looks like Katniss will be returning for a very different kind of Tribute Parade.

    9. And we see MORE GALE, too brief but still important.

    10. And we finally get to see some quality Katniss/Prim time.

    Sweet, sweet Prim. 💔

    11. Katniss gives us prime vocal fry as she talks to (assumedly) President Coin.

    12. AND THEN WE HEAR PEETA FOR THE FIRST TIME!

    13. "They belong to Snow and our deaths do, too," we hear him say as we get our first glimpse of him, crawling through a sewer.

    14. Then another too-brief scene of Gale/explosions. Looks like the Capitol is in for a beating.

    15. And then we see what are almost definitely Snow's lizard mutts in the sewer, and Finnick taking one out with his trident.

    16. (Seriously, the lizard mutts look horrifying.)

    17. AND PEETA. OH, PEEEEETA!!

    18. And Katniss hugging Peeta!

    19. And Finnick and Annie's wedding in District 13!

    20. And Coin with her new power haircut!

    21. And the tiniest, most insubstantial glance of Johanna Mason EVER but whatever we'll take it.

    22. And this is almost certainly Tigris.

    23. AND PEETA'S CRYING AND KATNISS IS KISSING HIM, I CAN'T.

    24. And, of course, the big moment. And Katniss looks flawless.

Watch the entire trailer below and weep openly.
