John Boyega Wore A Luke Skywalker Glove To The "Star Wars" Premiere

    Just one.

John Boyega clearly had a great time on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens red carpet Monday night.

He was all smiles in his snazzy purple tux and...wait, hold on, what's that?

    Hey, it's a glove!

Is he cold? No, he's in California, it's warm out there.

Also if he were cold he'd probably need gloves for BOTH hands, right?

Is he hurt, is he stylishly hiding an injury? No, he seems to be moving it around all right...

MAGIC! Is he casting magical spells? Wait, magic isn't real, hmmmmm.

There's only one logical conclusion to be drawn: He's paying homage to Luke Skywalker.

Remember? Luke gets that sweet robotic replacement hand and wears a leather glove over it.

Which makes sense, as Luke Skywalker himself also walked the red carpet (and did some cool hand poses).

    Well played, John. Well played.
