One-Millionth Word
Victory for English-speaking geeks the world over. At about 5:22 a.m. EST/10:22 a.m. GMT yesterday, the Global Language Monitor declared the one-millionth word in the English language.
It is not "Re-tweet," nor is it "Glambert." It's "Web 2.0!" Which is really more like two words, right? Official definition: “the next generation of World Wide Web products and services” or “the second, more social generation of the internet.”
