I am Heterosexual CISFemale happily married to a MTF. I was dating her then after we married the “husband” buried her if you will. If she did not return to me I feel our marriage would have not survived. She was terrified in telling me the truth of her real identity that she would loose me and our marriage would fail. What she didn’t count on was I fell in love with the person not the gender. Whether She is male or female does not matter to me. I have told her this is her show and she is the driver. It is her transition, her body, and her choices. I am just fortunate to be by her side loving her every step of the way. She questions what we are today as a couple. I say to her we are two people that fell in love. As far as pronouns or not, labels or not, abbreviations or not how about we stick with their name and what they are comfortable with. If someone you meet says “Hello my name is Sue” or You grew up with Sam who is now Sue and has said “Call me Sue” Then lets do that. A person is a person period lets address them as a person. Love the site and the write up. :-)
