1. Freshman year is a whirlwind of new friends, new experiences, and new levels of drunkenness
2. For some, this crazy train takes them all the way to senior year
3. For others, you start to think that maybe you bought the wrong boarding pass
4. The realization that this school isn’t what you thought it was slowly starts to sink in
5. You weigh the options of leaving everything you know behind or sucking it up and pushing past this dark period
6. You spend hours on the phone with your dad hoping he’ll give you some life changing advice so you can make up your goddamn mind
7. Then it hits you, this is not where you want to be
8. You scramble to figure out paperwork, deadlines, money issues, etc.
9. Somehow you get everything in on time and now you can finally breathe knowing this is the right thing for you
10. Suddenly, knowing you’re leaving creates this strange, present-day nostalgia and you feel like you’re gonna miss EVERYTHING
11. The semester ends, you pack up your stuff, build up your confidence that this is the right decision, and after a few short months, you’re starting over at a new school.
12. You arrive, unpack, and realize your friends aren’t down the hall anymore
13. You spend several weeks hating every decision you’ve ever made about your college career
14. Then miraculously, there’s an activities expo
15. So many clubs you can join! So many people you can be friends with!
16. You pick a club and there’s an awkward adjustment period because you’re brand spankin new
17. You’re constantly having to explain that you’re a transfer not a freshman
18. The first club party happens and everyone already knows each other
19. But before you know it, you’re making memories with these new people
20. You finally start to feel like you fit in somewhere
21. The classes you’re taking actually spark your interest
22. You actually crave the dining hall food
23. You look around at the friends you’ve made and the life you have at school and realize it was all worth it
