14 Episodes That Should Be In Supernatural Season 9

Supernatural has had its mid-season finale. There have been 9 episodes so far and there are 14 remaining. So, writers, here are 14 suggestions of episodes that should be in the rest of season 9.

1. A Genderswapped Episode

The Supernatural fandom even has actors picked out to play the main characters. And the supporting characters. And the dead characters. If we can get even a couple of them to guest star for an episode then I'm sure the writers could find something that would make everyone change genders. Maybe bring Gabriel back and blame him!

2. A Musical Episode

We've already seen that the Supernatural crew is a fun, song-and-dance loving group, so it only makes sense that they should do a musical episode! Plus, if you have never heard Jensen or Misha sing, your life is not complete, and Jared isn't half bad either!

3. A 'Charlie and Dorothy's Return from Oz' Episode

So Charlie and Dorothy strolled towards the sunset on the yellow brick road. However, they have the key to come back to our world, we love Charlie, and Dorothy was pretty badass as well. Why can't we see how they did against a leaderless army of flying monkeys, or some such thing?!

4. A Dean and Sam Body Swap Episode

They've already done body swapping. Just have Sam and Dean piss off a witch or something, like they do, and she does it to mess with them. Jared and Jensen have said that this would be very difficult because they've been building up their own characters for eight years, but they are amazing actors and I have every faith in them.

Plus it would be hilarious.

5. An 'Someone Hits On An Angel' Episode

Adam has been in hell for 1,314 days and counting at this point and is probably crazier than a squirrel on crack, but he still deserved to be rescued. Winchesters don't leave family behind... unless it's Adam.

7. An Episode in which the Samulet Returns

8. An Episode with Daneel Harris Ackles as a Guest Star

Daneel is the queen of our hearts. Gen had plenty of time on the show as Ruby. Why can't we have even one episode with Daneel kicking ass and taking names?!

9. A Resurrection Episode

So right now basically everyone is dead except Sam, Dean, Castiel, Crowley, and Abaddon. Therefore, there should be an episode where everyone comes back- Kevin, Bobby, Gabriel, Balthazar, and everyone else ever. Or, you know, even just one would be great. We aren't begging, but PLEASE!!!

10. An Episode by Guest Writer Ben Edlund

Ben Edlund has written some of the best episodes in the history of Supernatural. From Hollywood Babylon to The French Mistake, his works are some of the most loved and respected. He has an amazing grasp on the personalities of the characters and we all miss him.

11. A Metatron-Dies-A-Bajillion-Times Episode

Metatron is universally hated by the Supernatural fandom. The writers have put so many of our favorite characters through so much pain, and to make it up to us, they should give us an entire episode of just Metatron being killed in various painful and embarrassing ways. He deserves to die more times than Dean has died.

12. A Shirtless Episode

We got some shirtless Cas, and that's nice and all, but is it too much to ask to have some sort of haunted beach where they all have to pretend to be lifeguards or something? I really don't think that's too much to ask.

13. A Young Sam Episode

Colin Ford has aged in such a way that he still looks like a young Jared Padalecki. We had a teenaged Dean episode. Something that has always captured the fandom's imagination is how Sam told John and Dean that he had applied and been accepted to Stanford, and what the brothers told each other on the day Sam left. It would be a fantastic background to their relationship, and it would fill a hole that the fans have always wondered about.

14. A Dean and Cas Heavy Episode

They don't have to get together (though they should). They don't have to talk about their UST (of which they have a lot, don't even try to deny it). A best case scenario is that they have a heart-to-heart, talk about their relationship, or talk about how much they mean to each other. An acceptable scenario is that they have a lot of broments and forgive each other. They will have to work together to get Sam back, so this is a definite possibility, which is one of the most exciting prospects of our lives as fans.
