Ever since Julio Cesar's departure, TFC lacked the experience in the goalpost. Don't get me wrong, Bendik and Konopka are decent professional goalies. But when it comes to experience, Guzan topples them both. Rumour has it that Aston Villa are looking for another goalie. That means that 30-year old Guzan would have to look for a different club if he wants to remain in the first-team. Would you welcome Guzan, Toronto?

2. Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez

Manchester United fans in Toronto would agree with me on this one. There is no doubt that Chicharito has talent and potential. Being on the bench at Old Trafford (or at loan elsewhere) is just a waste for both the club and the player. At Toronto, a player of Chicha's calibre would be put to good use week in and week out. Match him up with Altidore up front? I think we'll have an explosive attacking team! Sell Gilberto and buy Chicharito. *drops mic*

3. Gianluigi Buffon

Now, what team would not want this legend in their squad? I know it's almost impossible for TFC to sign him, but imagine an ideal world where TFC attracts footballers around the world... Buffon is loyal to Juventus, but his time at Turin might almost be up. At 37, it would be hard for the veteran stopper to maintain consistency against younger goalies that the club will surely try to raise/buy. At TFC, we appreciate talent and experience from players of all ages. I definitely would like to see Gigi Buffon in Toronto Red, would you?

4. Daniele De Rossi

TFC has a history of poaching the talents off of Serie A. First, Michael Bradley. Then, Sebastian Giovinco. Both became indispensable stars of the club. There's no doubt that De Rossi could also further the impact. The player mentioned that he was fond of the US. Well, we're not the States, but it's close enough! Same league, same continent. Why not, De Rossi?

5. Nemanja Vidic

The former Manchester United captain is aging, even in his current spell at Inter. However, his experience at defence would greatly aid TFC's sloppy defending that's apparent in recent games. Vidic can control the backline. Heck, Didier Drogba accredited him and Rio Ferdinand for being his toughest opponents on the field. Having Vidic in the TFC squad would definitely rejuvenate the Toronto back 4!
