What Are You Doing Wrong On First Dates?

You are a phenomenal person and excel in nearly everything you do. Anyone would be lucky to date you, but sometimes you talk a little too much about yourself and don't leave enough room for the other person.

Talking too much 

You are fantastic to hang out with, but new people make you nervous and the concept of dating can seem kind of terrifying (you are definitely not alone, though.) Just remember that it's just a date, and that you'll never know how great it can be if you spend it being too shy.

Being too shy

You are a true romantic and have a lot of love to give, but, unfortunately, someone in your past did you wrong. Maybe you haven't quite healed yet, and that's okay, but if you're giving someone a shot at getting to know you, it's best to leave bad exes out of the first date.

Bringing up your ex

You are beloved by so many people and deep down you just want everyone to always get along. The only thing is, sometimes it can keep you from showing off who you truly are for the sake of a smoother date. Try really being honest next time -- it might make things more interesting!

Not being yourself

You know yourself pretty well and you probably hate the prospect of a "date" to begin with. And who can blame you? Dates are super weird and uncomfortable, but the best thing to fix an awkward silence is to just keep asking your date questions about themselves.

Not asking enough questions

You are very in-tune with who you are and aren't afraid of being vulnerable, which will make future relationships a cinch for you. However, first dates are about slowly getting to know each other on a basic level, so getting to a super emotionally-intimate level right away isn't the most realistic thing in the world.
