t0ph3r 9 months agoSigh. That British MP sounds like he has great credentials to be discussing Swedish law. Incidentally, here’s a new article today discussing the differences of these laws in various countries from the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19333439). It’s also important to remember that Assange hasn’t been charged with or convicted of any crime. The allegations are not officially charges. Swedish police have also refused to question Assange in Britain or via phone/video link. Notable US politicians have made no secret that they would like to get their hands on Assange. Under all the circumstances, it’s not unreasonable to debate or question why this case seems to be progressing so atypically.
