Jesus Had A Wife, According To Ancient Papyrus

    Paging Dan Brown.

On this tiny scrap of centuries-old paper is a Coptic phrase apparently never seen before on ancient scripture: "Jesus said to them, 'My wife...'" Below that line: "she will be able to be my disciple.”

The discovery reignites debate and theories long held about the relationship between Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. Historian Karen L. King presented the finding, which was provided by an anonymous donor and is estimated to be from the fourth century.

King explains that the discovery is exciting, but doesn't prove anything. (Hear that, Dan Brown?)
