On Thursday, Maya Caldwell, the 18-year-old daughter of Honolulu mayoral candidate Kirk Caldwell, uploaded Instagram photos of her and her friends throwing and smoking political signs from her father’s opponent, Ben Cayetano.
According to Hawaii News Now, Caldwell left Hawaii for college in Massachusetts today. Her father has apologized to his opponent.
(Pro-tip: If you’re going to pull a stunt like this, don’t Instagram it.)
