unheimlich 7 months agoHe says that the 5 second delay is “so that if anything went horribly wrong” they could “cut away from it” so the viewer “wouldn’t have to be subjected to it.” If this is a Fox News policy, I’m confused as to why this show ever airs.

Richard Parker 7 months agoIf one good thing comes of this, it’s that all this talk about life and death should lead to the inevitable conclusion that all sentient life is sacred, we should value our loved ones, and we will no longer turn a blind eye to the routine mistreatment of humans and other animals. We will remember this lesson for the rest of our lives, or at least until Lady Gaga shows up in a flashy outfit and makes us forget.

I don’t think that showing this type of footage is horrible. As one user mentioned below, if you’re okay with cinematic tragedy but are 180� about real tragedy, then that’s a bit contradictory. If I’m being honest, this kind of stuff is particularly interesting. I know I’m about to get a little deep here, but it’s mesmerizing to witness death and it’s many forms. Besides, it’s not as if you know the guy. You’re arguing about it right now, but in a day or two you won’t give a rat’s ass, so shut up and move along to another tragedy -Romney’s campaign.

WuTangPam 7 months agoI have never understood the point in showing car chases anyway.Fox is NOT a news station. Just a vehicle (station) for shock value, and to boost rating and donors for commercials. Local news, maybe, just so you know what’s going on if you’re traveling, but even then…it’s risky to even show a car chase on Live TV.
