The legendary magazine editor died today at age 90. See a selection of covers from her 32-year tenure.
Helen Gurley Brown, the woman who turned Cosmopolitan into the controversial sex bible it is today, died Monday at age 90. She was the editor of the magazine from 1965 to 1997 and remained on staff as a consultant through the end of her life.

I totally wish there were still mystery novels in Cosmo!!! I also wish I was so damn addicted to this magazine, it’s totally my guilty pleasure. It’s like the same damn issue every month and I still can’t get enough. I do swear that if they started putting mystery novels in Cosmo I would purchase a lifetime subscription instead of buying newsstand.
