12 “Bagel Head” Transformations

The Japanese body modification trend, unfortunately, has nothing to do with real bagels.

Japan’s “bagel heads” have apparently been around for years, but the trend is only now getting attention in the West thanks to a segment on Taboo, a National Geographic program.

A “bagel head” is created by injecting saline into a forehead, then pushing down on the center of the resulting bump. The look lasts between 16 and 24 hours.
