This super-cut uses one movie, “The Marine,” as an example, but it’s a pretty damning one. This is a cut of every piece of Miller Genuine Draft product placement in that “film.” If only it was just low budget action movies that did this.

Kristen P. a year agoI work in product placement and my job is actually to catch placements like these for our clients. Sure, the Miller placements are definitely a bit obvious, but I feel like whoever cut this is being overly dramatic about it, especially in the first scene. Did you expect them to switch beers mid scene? That wouldn’t make sense. Plus, a lot of people IRL really ARE brand-loyal, not to mention numerous films/tv shows I know who wouldn’t take our client’s beer because the star/director/whatever “only drinks American beer.”

HeavyD a year agoThis is stupid. Yes, product placement exists, and yes, sometimes it’s egregious, but this was only 6 different scenes in that movie.
I’m not saying there’s not a lot of product placement, but you can’t say there’s 20 different examples of it in one scene where it’s two guys drinking a beer. -
