Congealed bacon fat is great for spreading on toast OR you can save some time and just fry up a couple of slices of bread in the pan with the hot fat while it is still liquefied and make English style fried bread. Whenever I make breakfast I always make the bacon first then fry the eggs and bread in the fat after the bacon is done. No bacon fat ever gets wasted in this house.
