What's The Most Annoying Misconception About Teachers?

Fact: You wouldn't be where you are today without them.

There's no question that teachers are real-life superheroes.

Yet for all their hard work and dedication, they're misunderstood by nearly everybody.

For instance, some people think you've got it easy: sitting behind a desk, teaching a few classes, and getting off at 3 o'clock.

Little do they know, you're on your feet ALL DAY, and you spend hours at home planning lessons.

And some people assume you LIVE for the summer months away from kids.

In reality, you genuinely like teaching students, and you even spend part of your summer in inservice training learning how to do it even better.

And worst of all, some people actually believe the old adage, "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach."
