Jon Alan Bird was born on February 10, 1966 in Battle Creek, Michigan from autoworker Ralph J. Bird and his wife, the former Lucille "Ruth" Gilliam. His dad was a country musician/singing square dance caller performer (Ralph Bird and the Rolling Squares) and stay at home mother feed her growing wrestling prodigy. Jon’s earliest memory was kissing a girl in the sandbox . He liked to play superheroes, pretending to be those Marvelous creations. Growing up in the land of Kellogg’s breakfast manufacturer, he found his first fame winning the state of Michigan wrestling championship and excelled in the Boy Scouts. He has lived in Florida after Michigan and first came to Athens in 1991. He has been a Combat Medic at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii during the Cold War. His video collaboration with local attorney Eric Krasle for the Timi Conley video for his band Kite to the Moon and the song “Something for My Baby” is something that Bird would like to do again. The Filipino film industry has a completely different culture than the rest of the country.” Among Jon’s many heroes are Bruce Lee, Bill Clinton, John Belushi, Henry Rollins, Casanova, James Bond, Tommy Chong, Jose Rizal and King Henry the 8^th . He would have an imaginary dinner with Augustus, Simon Bolivar and Xishi if he could pull out the wand and chairs for anyone in history.
