Wait. You actually have a geek card? I mean, I was joking, but if you actually made yourself some sort of laminated card with the word ” geek on it, that's cool. I also do not have the resources to come get it from you, unless you are in lower Manhattan or Brooklyn.

Yeah, not being excited for this movie is hardly the defining reason for someone to lose their geek card. I do want to see the movie, and I think it will be fun, but I can't help but feel baffled that a comic can get a movie before the first issue is even published, but some comics have been around for decades and still haven't been movie-ized (Kick-Ass is further along in production than Green Lantern is!).  I'd love to see other comics get the live action treatment, like the Maxx, Iron Fist, Nick Fury, Goon, Grendel, Witchblade (a movie, not that crappy show), Invincible, and even She-Hulk!
